John R. Powers has over 35 years of experience in private and public accounting. His experience in private accounting includes cash management, bank financing, strategy implementation, financial reporting, and the development and monitoring of and internal control. Also, he has experience in standard costing, job costing, and activity-based costing and has been CFO for several turnarounds. His experience in public accounting includes financial statement review and compilation services, financial statement analysis and performance measurements. Also, he has substantial experience in tax preparation, compliance and consulting and personal and business financial planning. He is an Adjunct Accounting Professor at a local university. Julie graduated from Nashville State Technical Institute with an associate’s degree in accounting. She spent her first 25 years working for Don H. Ignatz, CPA in the private accounting sector. Since 2008, she has been with Powers & Associates, PLLC. Julie has extensive knowledge and experience relating to bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable and tax preparation.

Jordan graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting.  He has spent the past 10 years working in both the public and private accounting sectors.  Over the past decade Jordan has obtained extensive knowledge and experience relating to financial analysis, tax planning, financial reporting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, financial planning, cash management, budgeting, auditing, and compliance.  Jordan is currently pursuing his master’s degree in business administration and CPA certification.
